CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

We believe that children learn through play. As they explore the world around them they are actively learning new skills and improving their abilities. Given that every child is at a different stage with their development, abilities and skill level we cannot provide one developmental program for everyone. What we do is build a developmental background of each child over a period of time through a range of different observation methods which provide us with information about your child’s development. From these observations we develop a developmental program for the whole group based on their individual needs and interests and we make sure that we include special experiences that will support, encourage and extend each individual child.

We cannot build a complete developmental background on each child without your input. We encourage you to share with us information about your child, their development or any concerns you have as through communication we can work together in partnership to better educate and care for your child. At Tumut Kindy we provide a developmental program that is tailored to your child’s individual developmental needs and we offer new and stimulating experiences to further your child’s development and learning.
